Not Every Capsule Needs to Open Immediately
DRcaps are HPMC-based capsules built to delay disintegration after ingestion, giving ingredients time to reach the body on a different schedule than a standard capsule.
What Makes HPMC Different?
Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) is a plant-derived material, making DRcaps fully vegetarian and free of gelatin. It is non-GMO, gluten-free and BSE compliant, produced under GMP-certified manufacturing standards.

Built to Perform, Every Time
Delayed, Not Immediate
Where a standard capsule typically releases its contents within about five minutes, DRcaps are designed to hold together for roughly 45 minutes after ingestion, supported by in-vivo human data. That later release can help protect acid-sensitive ingredients from breaking down in the stomach, without requiring an extra acid-resistant coating during manufacturing. It can also help mask taste and odor, reducing aftertaste.
Built for Consistency
DRcaps are available in nine sizes across two design options. The capsules carry NSF, FSSC 22000 and EXCiPACT certifications, are Kosher and Halal compliant, and offer a shelf life of up to two years when stored properly.
Narum products made with DRcaps use this same technology - built to protect and deliver ingredients the way they were designed to work.
